NOVEMBER 2009
Brayden and Ella: These photos were taken when we went to Washington for Grandma Barnes funeral. It ended up being a bit of a family reunion. This was the second time Ella saw Brayden. The first being just after he was born. Their ages are: Ella 17 months, Brayden 11 months. What a difference 7 months can be!
Vegas Trip! We went to Las Vegas, NV with my family just after my birthday just for fun. We first stopped and visited Great Great Grandpa Barnum. He was 95 in this photo and is still alive today :)
We forgot "Bun Bun" (gasp!) so Ella made do with this stuffed bear
Ella driving Great Great Grandpa Barnum's scooter! So cute!
After visiting Great Great Grandpa Barnum, we visited downtown Las Vegas! We stayed in the Excalibur and had a great time. We got to go to The Tournament of the Kings, the M&M Factory, several exhibits, site seeing, and to Circus Circus. Circus Circus has a theme park inside and it was great fun! Jared wasn't feeling well and I was riding all of the rides so no real photos were taken :(
This is a panoramic view from our seat at Excalibur Tournament of the Kings

Watching the Water Show at the Bellagio

Our tickets from the Titanic Exhibit. There were actual artifacts from the Titanic!
After Vegas Ella and I traveled back with my family so that I could take my Reading Praxis Test to add a Reading Endorsement to my Teaching Degree. Afterwards we made a quick visit to Grammy and Grandpa Winston's before flying home.
She must have been tired!
We also made a visit to Grandpa Barnes'. Ella loved playing the marble game with him!
Thanksgiving 2009: We were invited to Great Aunt Julie's for Thanksgiving. She lives in Peoa, UT. It was very nice of her. This was actually our second year going.
The slide at Aunt Julie's. I bet it is much faster in the summertime!
Ella loved this little rocking chair!
A random bed-head, messy hair morning!
I should label this as Thanksgiving 2010 as I have already kept you up to date on our November this year, but alas, must stay with the theme. This Thanksgiving we decided to have a Ken and Tami Winston Reunion. All of the kids and their families (if applicable) were able to attend. It was a fun and crazy time. All 14 of us stayed in our new home. Thank goodness we didn't still live in the apartment :)
We decided now was as good as time as ever to frame our unfinished portion of our basement, especially since we had 2 brothers in construction specifically. It was fun for the boys and kept them from sitting around twiddling their thumbs :)
Checking out the unfinished room and determining what they are going to do with it
Nathan and Andrea fixed us dinner the first night. I don't remember what it was called but it was a Brazilian dish with rice, beans, and like 5 types of meat. It was good!
Cute little turkeys that Andrea, her sister, and Kira made
Grammy Winston and Andrea preparing our Brazilian drink
Dinnertime!
Silly Ella!
We took family photos during this reunion as well. Here are some of the results:
The Winston Clan (an outdated picture just 1 month later :) )
The Girls
The Boys
Jared and Amanda (why did I put all of my hair to one side, who knows)
Our cute little family!

Thanksgiving!
These next 3 pictures are so funny to me. Who knows what was going on or what we were thinking:
Some more of the family
The boys were required to be clean-shaven before they could participate in pictures
This is cute, Ella with cousin Spencer

Belly shots! So unfair, she was wearing white and was 4 months ahead of me :) JK
I think this is a better shot :)

I wasn't down there for this but from the video it must have been pretty hilarious!
